New PB on Back-to-Back Events at HRP

We had B. Mason's Track Rental Day on 1/7/22, where I ran 3 - 9.75's, new PB, from my previous best of 9.77, not by much but a little.

Went last night 1/28/22, slicks & drag radials only night, ran a 9.71. New PB.
I think I might have hit a 9.69 on one pass where I had a serious low fuel hiccup on the 1>2 shift, because I got my best 60' ever 1.403 on that pass but when it hiccupped it ruined the pass.
After that I aired up & drove home thinking what could have been.

Should be more good DA weather through March to try for 9.60's.

Time slips for review on both PB's on different days & pass with low fuel hiccup 60' 1.403, Car # 1127 & 1463.

Yeah the DA was great with low ( for us here ) humidity last night. On track day the humidity was higher.

About the same DA on both PB's but the humidity better on the 9.71

Only thing changed on the car was the new Corsa cai.
I don't know if it helped any but don't think it hurt any either.

The coolant tank cover is a must. Did you make any adjustments in the tune? Sounds like what B Mason thinks it may need to be adjusted slightly

No, I talked to him about that for the Corsa, but he said no it doesn't need adjustment on tune.

I don't ever touch my tune, same tune that it's had since I did the 2.85, almost 2 years ago.
Mason is the tweak master on his.

Now just what does the coolant tank cover consist of and purpose?? I have made these commercially and industrially. For more than likely the same purpose. In our install it may take 15 people and 2 months.

yes 5th post that is why I asked if they tweeked the tune. BMason said the JLT may have picked up .03 after he played with the tune. Can you run a CAI without an adjustment, yes but may pick up with a tweek.
Still planning on running my slow stock intake with a paper filter

Just drop in a K&N filter in the stock box. That's what I did when running it.
