There are a lot of wheels I don't like but black wheels are not on that list. More importantly, I give no F's what anyone else likes. I can only assume others feel the same way but if not perhaps they should? Am I supposed to get whats more popular or something that isn't like everyone else...
Good thread! I'm going to go with normal washes with my car. I daily drive mine and plan on keeping the car for a long time. Damage like rock chips will happen and way worse. I'm giving up on keeping a show room finish, not happening. I'm all go and not so much show. All that paint protection...
I've also been looking at dash cams. I have a V1 radar detector powered by a mirror tap on a blend mount currently installed. I only have the detector mounted on road trips though (so rarely.) So I went looking for cams that could be powered by the 12V RJ11 wire available for the V1. Only found...
Sounds worse than the slow start issue some have experienced. See

I'd be interested in hearing more about the "common issue with the secondary fuel pumps." I wonder if the tech had any reason to...
I'm a want it all kind of guy. I think electric cars can be fun and will ultimately outperform ICE powered machines. I also sometimes commute for over an hour each way in horrific traffic and wouldn't mind using to time to read, watch TV, get work done or have a nap. Autopilot systems aren't...
I agree with you. I guess, as I'm not wealthy, its the value that comes into play. More power for less is what gets me. The fancy top end costs more. If you could have it all though, more displacement, more valves and more rpm would be ideal.
I've always felt like Ford sort of went the wrong...
I'd rather the increased displacement. More torque in the lower end of the rpm range makes for more fun on the street. Pushrod engines package better. For a street car I would not want to give up displacement for higher rev range. If you were limited in displacement then you have to do what you...
I'm also entertaining ideas on this. I have read that 19+ cars will not throw codes if the springs (transmit the torque from the valve actuator to the butterfly) for the valve actuators are removed and the butterflies are wired open. Doing this would not need valve relocation, they could stay...
I agree, those flares are nice. Not inexpensive though. Wish they made some for the Charger. My 315s with 3mm spacer are barely, mostly, kinda not sticking out...maybe a little.
I'll admit, I just grabbed the battery on Amazon. Prime shipping, on my doorstep quick no hassle. Could be an issue if you need warranty though, not sure.
Love the engine and love the Scouts but don't think they are a good match. A Scout should be four wheel drive (they turned it in to rear wheel only) and speed isn't in its DNA. They had to make too many changes to get that beast of a motor not to pretzel up the frame, like a custom frame. As a...
This sort of thing does happen, that is all part of the auction game. Experienced buyers should know this. One tactic if you think the 'house' is biding is to bid fast like your going to keep going and stop suddenly (on a car that you don't have to have.) Sticking them with the winning bid. They...
Pulled off my factory rear wheels with the all season tires. Installed PK Hell Raiser's in 20x11 with Continental Extreme Contact Sports 315/35/20's. Wheels were closely matched to the stock Matte Vapor, shipped with TPMS sensors, mounted and balanced. Used 3mm spacers. No rubbing as yet.
