They work good, I have went through 2 sets. I will be buying some new tires soon and don't think I will be happy with anything else but they do cost a lot for 1.5 summers or about 11k miles. They make a 315/35 now which is the same hight as a 275/40 for $30 more a tire.
11,000 miles? I’m lucky if I get three or 4000 out of a set lol I ran 315‘s before but unless you have an 11 inch wide rim or wider They don’t put the whole patch to the ground and that’s why I started using 305’s. I have a 11 inch wide rim now that I’m going to put a set of 315‘s on next and see if they contact any better as even down to 24 pounds which is pretty low on the street you don’t use all of the 315 on a 10 1/2 inch rim. Don’t waste your money on them unless you have a wide enough rim for them.

Running a 10.5" and already thought about that plus the extra money. I was getting 15k out of the 555r. The 2s wear faster but the car is also heavier I'm comparing to

I’ve only been doing 60-130 pulls, fastest was a 5.34

60-110 3.59

Why?

Haven’t tried with Whipple and ported heads yet though. Waiting on a Satera clutched pulley for my Whipple

I just got my car back together, I'm pushing similar times, 3.6. Still on stock TCM tune so the shift points aren't high so I'm only seeing 17-18 psi on my 2.85. Max timing was 14*. @jonx96 Thinks I have a lot more power left for the 2.85 and after this I have to agree. Cannot wait to turn up.

Me? The 3-4 shift happens about 105 so the shift time is in that 3.59 60-110 time for me. Not stock trans and I run a 3.90 rear so my third is not as long as a normal M6 HC

So far my 2.74 Rings if Hell pulley driven by a +10 ATI lower is performing excellently. Added the AAD idler and no belt dust what so ever and still clutching like the first day of use. You can tell on shut down how well it’s clutching as the blower whirls down for 2-3 seconds after shutdown and sounds cool as hell lol. But I’m going back to my Whipple soon, it was almost a second faster in the 60-130 and I miss that power level, 5.25 60-130 with a stick is just crazy fast, LOVE IT!! Maybe with the ported heads and new rubber the 3.0 can crack a 4.x something. Hopefully Satera has a Clutched pulley out for it soon as well.
