I'm new to the hellcat so sorry if this has been covered or is a ridiculously basic question.
My question, how does the supercharger bypass valve work? I get that it bypasses compressed air back to the inlet but when does it do so? Only at part throttle? Does it limit max boost? I started...
Today I completed my first oil change at 1200 miles. Use my new Race Ramps to get it up a bit. Easy and I like how light they are. Installed an oilcooleraccess.com door for the oil cooler drain, very nice kit. Installed Stahlbus valves on both the pan and oil cooler drains. Applied SLiPLO bumper...
ZL addons do not seem to be available for the Charger. I decided to give the SLiPLO,s a try. Easy to install now to see how they hold up. Probably could have taken more time laying them out but was tired from doing a bunch of other stuff on the car, you cant see them anyway.
I have an update on my slow start issue. I decided to go ahead and get a new battery and avoid the dealer. I was tempted to get a lithium battery but decided just to go with an AGM. I wound up with an Odyssey 94R-850 from Amazon. It was plug and play with no issues. I had weird screens on my...
I'd like more details on the Amp replacement as I'm underwhelmed by the HK system in my Charger. The car is new to me so I'm still playing with settings, maybe I'm missing something but so far, it just doesn't seem all that great. Sort of like, I don't need 707HP most of the time but when I want...
Thank you for the link! I didn't see a ton of consensus that it works on all models or doesn't have any long term detriment (like the actuator motors always turning until they wear out.) Might give it a try though when I get a chance, whats the worst that could happen! (y)
I agree with you for the most part. The reality, that sucks, is the California market for auto manufactures is huge. Making different version of cars for different markets is expensive. So they don't want that. So everyone else gets to suffer for the precedent that California sets.
This will all be solved eventually. In the socialist wonderland future, you will apply for a government supplied electric self driving safety bubble car thing. In six to ten years if you are a good little citizen you will be able to take possession. Then you will be able to use it to get to your...
I can't help but think voter fraud is a real problem.
Granted that CA is much like the rest of the country in that most of the state geographically votes more conservatively. It the pockets of highly populated cities that rule us. I'm in San Diego and it is more conservative than LA and the...
Yes this state sucks hard. Last presidential election there were 4.4 million votes for Trump and 8.7 million votes for the broad who shall not be named. California used to be an amazing and beautiful state, currently we are trying to get to 3rd world status as fast as possible. We are almost...
