I don't see EV's being suitable as a persons only car anytime soon. Maybe as a play car that stays plugged in at the house for days and only goes out for short weekend blasts. Maybe for someone that has a reasonably short work commute and can charge from home overnight. EV's don't work as a road...
I think it looks good. What if the performance is really good as well? Not an EV fan but what if it kicks ass? Doesn't matter I'll probably just keep my Hellcat forever but at least it doesn't look like a Prius or a Model S. The exhaust is supposedly not a speaker...not sure how that works.
$150k salary for a year, a car on loan for a year, must make 15 appearances at events...so after taxes and they take the car back...people wanted to win this?
2001 Hyundai Elantra. It came with the girlfriend. Somehow, I ended up trading in my S2000 for a used MDX but wound up driving her pos Elantra. It was some kind of purple grey color but most of the paint had been baked off the thing from years in the desert sun. I really hated it. After awhile...
No idea on the Durango, on my 19 Charger the HK system is horrible. I seriously hate it and take any opportunity to vent my frustration. It does not get loud enough and the bass was a sloppy mess. I disconnected the atrocious free air woofer on the parcel shelf and added a self powered sub. Now...
Good idea. I was thinking build a big off road service truck sort of rig with a powerful turbine generator on it. Station such trucks at popular locations in the back country and charge lots of cash for charge up services. The service trucks could even go to dead, out of charge Jeeps. Maybe have...
I'd like to have the options of quiet stealth, powerful muscle car, and clearly violating noise ordinances. All at the press of a button controlled by me on the fly.
Yeah it sucks! Most of us want out and many are leaving. I'm stuck for several more years due to having a son and an x-wife. Also my career basically traps me in the largest population areas that are inevitably full tard commi. Unless I get crazy lucky I'll have to wait until retirement to...
Can you just purchase an additional engine computer. One with stock tune and one with aftermarket? Swap in the stock tune ECM and drive a bit for readiness code to be set then get smogged?
I hear Montana is easy to get cars registered...see a lot of Montana plates on nice cars in SoCal. Need to...
Thats awesome. I have had the opportunity to chat with Prudhomme several times and check out his shop in SoCal (thanks to a work connection.) He was always super personable and a genuinely nice guy.
Unfortunately when young and working for big corporations you have to move jobs a few times to make progress. You don't want to get stuck in a position with new hires making the same or nearly the same while you spin your wheels. Keep long term goals in minds and make moves now and then. Not too...
I want one and I am a driving enthusiast. It is hard to be enthusiastic when you are in stop and go traffic for two hours on the way to work. Instead of mind numbingly counting how many expansion joints are on the interstate between San Diego and LA I could be watching YouTube videos or reading...
Was thinking today that I've never been to Death Valley. School is out and my son and I could use a father son road trip. The Hellcat is no longer the daily and doesn't get driven as much. Why not go to Death Valley in the cat? Checked the weather and yeah, its hot. Today it got up to mid 120's...
While I'd rather gas were cheaper, I guess I should thank dementia Joe for the increased value of my big oil stocks. Weird how the oil companies don't seem to give the environmental wackadoos much resistance. They seem to like the effect on the price of crude...
