My opinion though on bigger TB’s, without being able to rev higher and consume more CFM’s that a bigger diameter TB can flow bigger is not always better. unless you are planning on increasing max rpm you may have less pressure drop at the inlet of the blower but that amount of difference is going to be very small at the same rpm. Unless you have done some thing like headers and/or a more open exhaust adding a 105mm TB with just the plate isn’t going to net much more over a 95mm TB. My 02

I agree with most of this . CID will also benefit from a larger throttle body. Plus everything in front of the throttle body needs to be at least the same size diameter as the opening of the throttle body.
Here is my plans ...... Demon hood , AFE demon CAI sealed to the hood, 105 mm throttle body with appropriate coupler to the CAI, ported snout , TTI 1 7:8 stepped to 2 headers and a full 3 in exhaust to the tips .

Air in, air out

Tuning used to get pretty interesting with larger throttle bodies, and more air flow in general. Has that changed with Hellcat tuning? I think Demonology was having some issues recently.

I’m pretty damn happy with this combo, my street 1/4’s are up by 3 mph, 132-133 to 135-136, can’t wait to hit the track again, I can see 10.45 M6 1/4’s on the horizon!!!

I didn't have a lot of issues with the 95mm . I did fine tune it . I will be doing the same with the 105mm . I don't think it will be a difficult just a bit time consuming data logging , make a change, re data log and so on and so forth . I will post on what I did .

OK, finally a track day to see if dyno gains from billet inlet plate and Fastman 95 mm TB made any track gains. Track busiest I’ve ever seen it, got there at 8 am only to sit and wait, 11:30 finally test and tune guys got a turn, and only one turn, what shit. 15 mph headwind straight down the track, DA around 1000, 315/50-17’s on their second time out. Track prep was great, she stuck like on flypaper, best 60’ ever for me and best run ever, finally a 9 second M6!! All be it only by .002 seconds but it starts with a 9 and that’s all that counts!! The 2.98 first Tranzilla coupled with the 315/50-17’s is what made breaking into the 9’s possible, the run was made in the first 330’, caught second perfectly and from banging third on out I new it was going to be one of my best runs ever, and it turned out to be my best ever !! Sucky part I waited around until 2 pm for another run to back it up which never happened, it was money racers day not Test and Tune guys day :(
125 mile round trip for one pass SUCKED but at least if was a good pass :)

Brother,

You coming back to Kentucky? I am setting up the pits and your ass is included. Your cat is screaming quick, I hope you will attend, I am trying to provoke Dan, so far failing.

I only got in 2 passes at HRP on 5/29/20 & the DA started at 2119 & was 1963 on last pass, 10.31 & 10.27 , I was at FULL weight except for the rear Race Stars & DR's with 5/8 tank of gas.
No more skinnies ( stock wheels & tires on front ) & no front seat delete or anything removed from trunk.

Another Ricky Bobby,

Love it, send her. Will I be seeing you in a few weeks? Are you inclined to burn some gas, go a restaurant and be an American? Yes, that is an invitation

That's funny that you said Ricky Bobby , that's what my GF calls me since I did put my 2015 GT in the wall , LOL , but I don't really want to talk about that.

I appreciate the invite but I don't travel very far to race , but refresh my memory to where you are taking about ?

Clay City, Kentucky, Dan's Event, it is going to be a drive for you, I have a 10.5 hour drive. I got you covered, long drive but lots of fun with us ( I say us)
