Thanks everyone who stopped by to meet and chat. I didn't have a whole lot of time to walk around so I appreciate you guys who went of your way to find me. I had a lot of fun at Milan.

Here are some time stamp links from the live feed of some of my passes and a few of my slips.

On Thursday, I made one blower only (no nitrous) pass to get a feel for the track and get some data for upcoming races that restrict me to a single power adder. At 4470 lbs, I managed an 8.477 @ 163.96, not bad on the new 3.0L Whipple setup.

During heavyweight qualifying round 2, I made another blower only pass at 4540 lbs and ran an 8.495 @ 163.84.

During heavyweight finals, I was paired up to race a client of mine in her stock Redeye. I had major issues on that pass which made for a real close race at the end. I spun, got back in it, the car felt unsettled or off so I lifted and put it in neutral out of habit. I then put it back in gear and didn't realize it was in 7th when I tried to get back in it. My trans cried for mercy as it overpowered the clutches and slipped to the moon so I let off and was basically coasting the rest of the way, looked over and was like hmm... she might catch me. She almost did, but I took the W by a fender crossing at around 98 mph on my side.

All the winners race in a bracket style King of the Hill race off at the end and to be honest, I don't really have a chance versus most of those other index class winners so I try to have fun with it. I put a 7.90 dial on the car and got ready. If it hooks even with a soft launch, it should break out with a 7.8x just based on having done just that last month. Unfortunately, even with a conservative launch, I spun, recovered, and ran an 8.20 @ 178 mph.

After that, we decided to head home back to Houston early to take advantage of the weekend traffic and rest stops.

With you in Texas and some of us in Michigan it does make it hard to cross paths but glad you made it up here. Also was the hottest day in almost 2 weeks but still wasn't to bad

I was watching that final and your car was making all kinds of noises going not going and like you said it was close but you got the win:)

I'm not a real "convertible" guy, but I have to say that Chally looks pretty good to me, wide or non-wide

Found some of mine. My biggest problem was the car going too fast LOL. Double break out in Bracket and I was shocked. Fastest pass the car made all weekend and the weather warmed up to boot. What's weird is we both broke out by the exact same amount? .0406? She still got me on the tree by .08 though.

This was 10.00 index class. My luck wasn't too good got paired up with a pretty seasoned racer in his Jeep. I got on the brakes when I realized I was gonna shoot by him and ran a 10.02 which was awesome, but as per normal he got me on the tree. I think he has a trans brake or two step or something. I gotta figure something out on my RT for pro tree. Best I could do all weekend was .238.

Was it a silver jeep, he did big burnouts and was loud?
