Yesterday that POS DS version of the DSC Suspension controller took a final shit. No problem to buy a new one, from DSC? SOB…BACKORDER. I’ll call them tomorrow and offer them $$$ to make me one. Unless anyone has a spare one hanging around they do not like.
Have a good update regarding DSC. Called them and FYI if anyone is waiting on a back order they will run soon. For mine, they are going to look at it, and if nothing is entirely fried, fix and upgrade it for me. For a price of course. But that is great instant service.

Couple years ago, we had a very mild winter. Mostly warm and very little snow. Town had a mountain of salt visible from the main road, it was hardly touched all winter. We had a few inches in March, and suddenly the mountain was gone!!!

The amount of salt they put on the roads has nothing to do with what is needed to melt the snow, it is all about using up the allotment to justify next year's budget.
That's everywhere I think 🤔 Buffalo 🐃 NY has replied 😅

Oddly enough, our local small mountain of "red shit" (cinder and salt) is still mostly intact.

And has been for two years since we haven't had any winter lately.

Lemmie guess, it's been there for 75 years... :ROFLMAO:

Nope. Back when we still had actual winters they would happily ruin perfectly nice and clean roads with hardpacked snow into a slushy and corrosive mess.

Better yet, they would spread that shit, then go by with the plows. That's logic so flawed you'd swear it's from the east coast.

That practice is standard operating procedure up in Canada

Well it’s that time again, doing my oil change this morning. They installed the new windshield last Thursday, I waited the 3 days like they said before I washed it. Now it has moisture where the rear view mirror was mounted. They’ll be back tomorrow.

Did NOT drive it! Had a choice it is a beautiful day. But. The temp decals are just too much. It is a blinking light. Had to drive around. The Durango was great and low key. I’ll get plenty of miles on it next week, I promise.

Heard the stars always go first into the wind ✨️
Could be. I could not let the flag be backwards on one side. It also wears a Proud to be a Veteran plate so just sayin…:geek:

There's a book or pamphlet that lists all the dos and don'ts of flying or displaying a flag. Pretty good reading

(y)

When displaying the American flag, the stars should always be positioned on the left side. This rule applies whether the flag is hung vertically or horizontally. Specifically, when the flag is displayed against a wall, the union (the blue field with stars) should be uppermost and to the flag's own right, which is the observer's left. This ensures that the flag is displayed correctly and respectfully according to the U.S. Flag Code.

Not exactly the weekend I wanted. Finally got the new axles and they appear to be too long. Got the knuckle on but wouldn't move in far enough to get the arms to bolt on. I did have a diff seal leaking so changed them both out. Saturday pulled apart Sunday back together. I have pulled axles a few times but for some reason I have an abs light on I can't figure out. Maybe I damaged one of the tone rings when I swapped them this time 20260523_133635.jpg 20260524_074538.jpg

No luck finding the right tool to knock these in. My friend Joe had a 3" bearing race and a kit to put flat seals in and it worked. This is what the diff axle seal looks like
