Just paid almost $1k to register the 170 today. Price was for 15 months and included vanity plate charge. It also included a $48 credit from the M6.
But...
-No sales tax
-Insu for the RE, 170, Wrangler and F150 is $812 total for 6mo.

Reg price is based on vehicle cost and age, it drops sharply after 3 years so next year should be maybe half what I just paid.

Couple days ago I logged into my mopar.com account and checked out coupons at local dealers. All have a $145 for 2 Pennzoil Syn 7q changes, sounds good to me. Some 15% off, one had a $25 off parts or service, but Jeep had $50 off parts or service.

Stopped by today and bought a L of diff fluid $62, paid $12!!! I like bargains!!!!

Here is the pic i promised a few pages back, IMG_6432.JPG of the blacked out marker lights. I like it on the black and white car. I totally understand why everyone's hoods are blacked out, man that glare right before sunset is a killer with a white hood.

Last year we had a Federally funded program to repave city streets....so what did they do....paved all the inner city side streets (that didn;t need it..)..or are seldom used...WTF

Yeah, the white hood reflects badly, but any shiny hood will be similar.

Vanity plates put a finishing touch on a car. No different then changing wheels or other visuals. All my cars have had vanity plates random numbers and letters look gay

My squadron in the Corps was "HMH-361"...

Colorado explicitly excludes combinations of 3-letter/3-number combinations (which is what they use in their plate character scheme... i.e., ABC-123 or 123-ABC)

So the ONE plate that I wanted was disallowed...

They have lots of plates to choose from here, and I picked the "Support Our Troops" version.

They're $17 (a one time cost) and for a good cause I think. But I have to admit that the really real reason I went with them is that they're practically impossible to read from any kind of distance.

That's in contrast to my girlfriend's cars that all have vanity plates which are both easy to read and remember. Then again, none of hers are debadged, completing the look-at-me approach which I do my best to avoid.

My 1st one was 70-340. Not all were car related like Fett (star wars) Datzyuk (red wings) Chappie (one of my cats). My longest owned plate is Vortecd which has seen 4 different cars

Teresa has a Army plate but still personalized for competing in kettlebells

Michigan finally has a black plate but can only have 6 numbers/letters, i need 7 for my plate so can't change to it. No idea why. The army badge takes a space so I get that on some plates but no reason for the black plate to not have 7
