Will a cylinder misfire be indicated on the display, or can it only be read via OBD? Just now on the road, after a hard acceleration and then slowing back to 50 mph (in 8th gear), there was intermittent shaking, similar to a sudden loss of engine power. The car's mileage is 17,300 miles, using 91# gasoline. Do I need to check the spark plugs? Thank you all.:coffee:

The check engine light has been staying on—this is an old issue. The fault code only shows U113F. After pulling over at a service area, restarting, and driving smoothly for a while, the symptom disappeared. Very strange. (BTW, my car makes a very subtle rubber-like rubbing sound at low speeds, both when moving forward and reversing. We tried to locate the source of the sound; from the driver’s seat, it seems to come from the right side, but the technician in the passenger seat heard it from the left. Just now, this rubbing sound became very loud, but after driving on the highway and returning to the repair shop, the sound disappeared again.)o_O

The friction noise occurs around the 2–9 second mark in the video. Please pay attention to the speaker icon in the lower right corner—if it's muted, click it to turn the volume all the way up. If possible, using headphones is recommended, as the noise might be difficult to hear clearly through speakers. Thank you sir.[shakehands]

I see and hear your video. I do not hear the sound you are talking about. Try taking the car to a empty parking lot, an doing very small tight figure 8"s. See if you hear it doing that.

I will give this method a try and attempt to record the noise more clearly. Thank you very much.

In fact, there are quite a lot of such parking lots. They are usually located far from residential areas, so they are less frequently parked in. More often, those who gather there are automotive enthusiasts.[hihi][histerical]

I removed the speaker box from the spare tire area. Found 10 years of dirt under there, it's spotless now. ;)

Getting real detailed in my inspection and detailing under it now. Pulled a small metric fine thread bolt from the back of the AAD Toe arms. Realized the ignorant asshole who worked on it last spring (not my usual dealer, and will never see it again), somehow decided to eliminate the two bottom of them. I need to go buy a couple new ones and re-detail the signal/control wiring. They had to replace one side of the assembly, after the wheel chewed it up on the right side, AND they had to also replace my front AAD control arms because the idiot stripped one of the bolts up there too. Pictures next week after I get those things clean and detailed again.

Unfortunately you’re stuck with more idiots than a real mechanic. It’s tuff when you’re super picky.

I just did not want to tackle the darn springs myself. I had the correct dealer and individual put the OEM stuff back. That is the same guy who installed ALL the AAD members. Then the same guy and me checked the alignment. I think after I do this minor little thing, I can sign off on the mechanical parts. Then I’ll clean it up and take it to the courses. I need to get out some of my motorcycle detailing stuff. These AAD arms are tough with the impressions that apparently catch any and all overspray from the wheel washing.

Road America first week of May is a definite start.

Only you post pics of an issue AFTER detailing said components. ---Legend!
