Yep. Tucked away vs. come take me. Or at least hit me while driving by.

I'd be sleeping in mine (and well armed) if I had to park in a place like that.

It's NYC...I'm surprised the homeless aren't already sleeping in there :oops:

I don't think I would own a HC if I had to leave it in a parking garage all winter...

Some of your other images of it parked were more tucked away?
New garage. Im on a reserved floor now with all nice cars. Bentley's, Mclarens, Lambos, Ferraris, etc.

And its downtown away from MSG.

Im happier here at the garage. Should have moved here years ago.

I intended to go to test and tune in my '15 HC (M6 - it's been a while) Thursday night, but T-stat decided it was not to be. Swapped it out this morning, at least the fifth in the last three years. This one the plastic? insert broke and somehow got caught in the works, preventing opening/closing. unfortunately, pulled it back out before the pic. cheap pieces of crap the last few years
DSCN1807.JPG
since I was in there anyway, decided to swap out the cabin air filter and air filter. proceeded to bust two of the clips off the air box, not for the first time. gave me an excuse to buy a never installed AFE from a neighbor, cheap, kinda. pulled the stock air box out, for the first time since Dec 2020 [warranty supercharger swap], found the inevitable debris as well as some corrosion. turned a quick repair and head to the track into a very long day. House of Hook is still open, but only one or two days left this year though, so the weather on 6 Dec had damn well better be good
DSCN1803.JPG
the junk foam used to cushion/separate the air box, all nice a deteriorated. rubbed through the paint in several spots
DSCN1805.JPG
a little de-oxidizer, sanding, a little paint, hours of waiting, dinner, then installed the new air box. surprised at how quick and easy it went together. even the intake inlet tube dropped right into place without a fight [no pics, dark out there right now]

After changing to new wheel hubs and tires, the road vibration feels very noticeable. I'm currently testing the feedback from different tires on road vibration (wheel hub ET-5, front tires Michelin PS4 K1 with a width of 305, rear tires Toyo PXSP2 with a width of 315). Nice! I see a redeye there based on the tachometer? Do you know what your check engine light is on for? Looks like the stock thermostat based on your temp gauge.

Can you show pictures of the wheels/tires, especially where the weights used to balance the tires are located and how many are used? Why did you have to replace the wheel hubs?

Thanks, bro. My car is a 2023 Challenger Hellcat Widebody Jailbreak with 717 horsepower. I replaced the gauge face inside—the original speedometer only went up to 200 mph, so this makes it easier to see my current speed (though it becomes inaccurate past 50 mph:ROFLMAO:). We read the trouble codes, and it only showed "U113F" for lost communication with the valve. The repair shop suspects the valve might be faulty, but the automatic exhaust valve is actually working normally:unsure:, which is pretty strange.

Some ideas to check what might need tightened.

The U113F code in a Dodge Challenger, indicates a communication fault with the left-side active exhaust valve actuator
which is often related to the active exhaust system. This can be caused by issues with the actuator itself, a blown fuse (specifically Fuse 36 in the rear fuse box for some models), or wiring problems, such as a loose connection or damage in the harness.

As for the wheels, I ran over two bricks while driving at high speed. The front right wheel rim got deformed (though the tire didn’t burst), while the rear tire blew out with only minor scratches. I wanted to replace them with original factory wheels, but the repair shop told me the style I wanted seems to have been discontinued. So, I had no choice but to buy aftermarket wheels. However, the ET (offset) data is different from the original wheels—the original had an ET of -2.5, while the aftermarket ones are -5. Additionally, I switched the tires from Pirelli P Zero 305/35R20 to Toyo Proxes Sport 2 313/35R20. I had them balanced, road-force tested, and performed a Hunter four-wheel alignment (the chassis alignment data remained largely unchanged). All four wheels and tires now have perfect measurements, but after the replacement, the ride feels noticeably bumpy. I'm not sure whether it's due to uneven road surfaces or if the right front chassis components got deformed from the impact.

Thank you so much, Linda. While searching the forum, I found the description of the U113F code in another one of your posts—specifically mentioning Charge Air Pump Connector Corrosion. I can also check it out while investigating. This is really useful information. Thanks again! :giggle:

Driving on public roads is like playing a real-life game — gotta follow the rules, or you might just "match" with the Arkansas State Police next. Not exactly the leaderboard I'm trying to top! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::giggle::coffee:

Most of us have gone through wheel/tire vibration problems at some point in our lives. In my experience, most problems can be solved by a very skilled tech and a Hunter RFV balance machine. Assuming the tires and wheels are not terrible, it is amazing what a good tech can do.

I had huge probs with my 2004 GTO aftermarket wheels and tires. The shop that sold the wheels/tires could not fix it.

I found a shop with a Hunter, they checked everything as is, then removed all the tires and checked the wheels, they matched tires to the wheels and rotated the tires on the wheel to maximize balance before adding weights. It was PERFECT.

I went through 4 sets of tires over 140kmi using the same shop, never had a problem ever!
