Why do they think electric cars are any more emissions friendly?
What do you think the factories mining the raw materials are running on? 🤪. And the production process to make an electric battery causes significant pollution.. so how green is it really?

This is the kind of crap we have here.
The Provincial govt. Owns the electric company.
We already pay incrementally higher registration rates for any engine size over 4.0 L.
No wonder we are the leaders in small car sales in Canada.

I think that while there may not be a huge "net" global benefit to emissions when you factor in mining and power plants(but what do we actually know versus suppose), there is a very noticeable urban air quality benefit to electric cars. Still, I mean I don't have one, and I don't put on a lot of miles in a year, otherwise I would consider something like a Prius to knock out the boring miles.

No wear for the hookers to sit. I have had the opportunity to work in a battery plant in Riview, Fl and it is a hazord like worse than a nuke plant. Every haz o der us chemicals in the world. Acid, mercury, lead. Oh, where to dump it after retirement?? I was not there very long and had seen are ty in the union to get the hell out. Back to the fossil fuel plant at Big Bend, Fl. Nasty but safer. Built in 1929. Burning that coal. How many excutive orders are going to be written when this yo yo is out the door?? Another record.

I was at the 1968 Indianapolis 500. No, there weren't any electric (or steam ;)) powered race cars. However, there were three turbine powered cars. They were the fastest cars there, but boring as hell for the same reason. No noise! Thankfully, they broke.
