I saw @DRAGRCR was heading to 131 on Facebook for a track rental on Wednesday from 3-11 so I headed over to meet and hangout with him. Ron was very informative telling me what he has done to the car and explaining his data logs. My friend Tim was there and Steve Morris had the wagon out. Nice evening with afternoon temps around 80 dropping into the 60's in the evening. DA started at 2700 dropping to 1900. He ran a handful of low 9's with the the best being 9.04, 9.00 and an 8.99!

He said it was real hot in Kansas so he wanted to get away. He was thinking on going to some other places to run. Tires were starting to be hit or miss so he needs to get some tires

It's a OBDII extension chord I snaked through the console and made a fixture to fit into the Cup Holder. Even the service Tech's at the Dodge Dealer use this to hook up to my car. Also it makes it easy to remember and to remove the HpTuners Tool after racing, so it does not drain the battery.

I spent most of my life in So Cal and a couple years in Kingman and then back to California for a couple years and the last year I moved to Kansas so I could be centrally located. I found a 40X75 metal building with a 1 BR apartment inside. It is in a small farming Town not too far from the 44 and Joplin.

Thanks for posting this Jim. I knew your username and if I thought about it hard enough, or long enough, your name. I did not realize this track was local to you. Now I see why Dodge was testing here. Samuel is really smart and getting smarter. So the prep is excellent. It sucks my D170 was not working better. I spun, like, 10 times. That poor Car should break something but it hangs in there. It's so violent it pops the console door open. My whole goal for using/testing the JMS TractionMax was to limit wheel spin. So much for that. I did not like it, so I am headed home to de install it and install new Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial Pro's (315/60R15). I might even put the weight back in the trunk. Yes the car was faster when things were just right, but with fresh tires and the weight back there it WILL do 100 foot wheelies nearly every time and no 10X spinning. I actually went out and talked to Samuel and made sure he knew I had issues and I appreciate what he was doing for us. I follow the group and will be headed back up any time I can, chasing better DA etc. For those that have not seen this video...........

BIR could be world class for weather tomorrow. The NHRA has another good weekend picked up here. Too bad they are not offering any public events for a couple of weeks, it is cooling off.
