Looking at the channels you sent me I would think you need to log:

Cylinder Airmass
Total Airflow
Aircharge

and compare it to:

Desired Engine Airflow
I'm going try and log every airflow and temp log I can

Good stuff . I think I'm going to try and get as much data as I can every time I test a part or combo.

Right. So what? Well, the numbers for a stock setup would be a good baseline for any changes made. This has been my point since you poor bastards found me (or I found you). With respect to intake tubes, IATs alone are meaningless - if the air mass (lbs/min) go up and IATs (*F) go down there is a benefit. This will most likely be reflected in trap speed. If there are no significant changes in air mass, and IATs drop a negligible amount - the advertised benefits are moot.

The next point that needs attention is dropping "boost" as a concept of performance measure. the real tell is always air mass. At sea level or 5000 ft you will definitely see a measured deviation in air mass - where "boost" (a measure of restriction, not quantifiable air flow) remains similar.

The factory ECM may actually show the effects of air mass increases based upon its internal calculator by way of the torque/hp gauges.

Long story short this should be summarized as: Adding such and such intake tube netted me a peak/average increase/decreae of XXlbs/min air mass and a drop/gain of XX*F IAT, and +/- X mph in trap speed.

I'm going to Naperville Oct.13 . I'm going to re run the tests with more data points in my vcm scanner . I am now curious on what's going on inside the engine and what it is telling me when I change intakes . In my opinion for my engine it's the volume increase that helped the most . I truly don't believe the stock air box has the volume to support my engine now .

Damn Mo to Head. They must have found us both at the same beach bar. Easy on the caf ine. Try sum mo to Joe instead. I test mine beers per hour. Funner that way. It's like me, myself, and I having a conversation in a 2 way mirror. Better that way. No arguments is what this tread is going towards. A bit of hoo moer in tised would be a Key West way of life. I, myself, just try and piss off, or on, the stang gu ruse for fun. Kinda takes the edge off the morning hours,,, when THE DAMN SCHOOL BUSSES PISS YOU OFF. Take a Xanax and a bit of Buff hay and chill. Take a deep breath of nitrous.

@hellno, what was your IAT after the burnout and what was it at the end of the 1/4?
What was ambient temp?

Aircharge confused me for a while. I kept thinking it was related to boost, but it's not. You'll notice aircharge will actually drop in the upper RPMs. My max aircharge was about 1750 in the 93 degree heat logs. Pratio of 2.2 (this is boost).

I recommend having aircharge, pratio, and ambient air temp in all logs.

However, I've found having too many PIDs in the channels list will cause the reading to lag big time. I thought I was having a trans shift issue the way the RPMs would round over instead of go to a sharp peak, and it turned out to be a lag and I had to remove some PIDs.

You'll have a good time. Good bunch of folks, don't be afraid to just walk up and introduce yourself. Never been to Atco, but apparently it's from outer space and amazing times are possible LOL.

I wonder if placement of the maf sensor is causing the iat to get cooler ,if it doesn't then id say because my stock blower is being spun at a faster rate now with the pulley change then its just creating more heat
