Multiple sources have confirmed to Drag Illustrated that Austin Prock - fresh off his second consecutive NHRA Funny Car world title - along with crew chief Jimmy Prock and assistant crew chief Thomas Prock, has informed John Force Racing of their departure. Official word has not yet been released, but our sources on this are rock solid. We’ve reached out to all parties for comment and will update as more information becomes available.

Anything is possible but my thought he would still want to be an owner. We just saw this happen not long ago with Schumacher selling off all of his teams though

just feels like an odd-couple combination and scenario to me. the money they (Procks) garnered must be absolutely huge, or they would be fools for leaving what to anyone else except for maybe Kalitta would be best of the best situation to work in. JFR isn't going anywhere soon.

Makes no sense. Also made no sense when prock left Schumacher to go to Force. I would think having their own team would be the next move not going to Tasca
