Yep. Been watching BAT since August for something to replace my car to get a feel for the market. DEFINITELY softening. Finally. It's either time of year, the economy, or both.

Don't keep close track, but the auctions I've watched lately 'classic' cars still seem to be selling pretty high tho prices do seem to be tempering.
New car prices are definitely getting softer. Lots of the 'last call & special editions' seem to be sitting on dealer lots & there are allocations unordered.

Been lightly shopping for a replacement for the DDSRT & some vehicles now have significant rebates & dealer discounts - a sign the party is over & things are coming back to earth.

Noticed the Durango R/T's have a $9k rebate right now & there are scads of them on dealer lots - seems strange ??

Buyers in the North East..have a tendency to back off with the advent of winter...the impact can be significant..couple that with the unrest overseas..buyers are taking a breath,,,and it's starting to show...

Most dealers in the Northeast have dumped their sports cars and convertibles by now. Great time to buy if you can afford to hold them.

Funny you mention that my buddy and I partner on that...we split the cost..he handles the shipping..I store them in one of my buildings...we run em in May...and split the profit...we got 11 this year...neither of us get rich...but it's nice money...
