Hopefully it’s not just a Charger with an ICE engine because we all know that’s coming.

Something smaller (even the current Challenger size) with multiple ICE options would be way better than the Charger. The new Charger is just too big and heavy to get excited about.

In making the Charger all EV from the start they had to make it really big to be able to haul enough batteries and that size just makes it undesirable with any ICE power plant. The new Charger with a hellcat drivetrain will be over 5000lbs. No thanks.

Well, almost anything would be an improvement over the last few reveals (Charger EV & Hornet) - questions are, will it be a V8 & will it be realistically priced.

Some online saying Hurricane Why would that be a reveal when we know about that a year ago. One said 5.7 395hp R/T with something big with the SRT. That seems more believeable

Given the timing I really don't expect much. The best (realistic?) scenario is a 5.7 Hemi. Looking at past reveals I don't expect them to jump past a base line V8 to start - I will hope, but given the recent Mopar options/developments and timing (since Tim's return) my expectations are low...

I agree - I am sorry, but even 75K is way too much - I have never paid over 50K for a vehicle (except my motorhome) and I don't plan to start now...

No kidding. An extremely dated 5.7 will be about the least desirable motor to go into these and if it’s not in the $40’s it’s over for them. $75k for a 5.7?

Do people get used to price escalation that easily? If a 5.7 is $75 a standard Hurricane is $80 an HO is $85, a hellcat is $95 and a Redeye is $105. No chance of success with that pricing.

I think people are forgetting the first Hellcats were $65k. Then Covid temporarily increased the Challenger prices dramatically along with last call. Stellantis has to come back to reality and realize last call was a temporary gold mine. Temporary.

A great many ppl are buying the payments ! This is why the pressure to keep lowering interest rates and extend the number of months allowable for payback. Some of these ppl are signing up for 72 & 84 month loans
