So I just had the dealer, which was a mistake, install the blue Mopar lowering springs on my 2018 WB and boy it sure didn’t lower it much at all. No I know they will settle a bit but it was 1/2 inch up front and just under 1/2 inch in the rear. Not impressed. The car does ride a little stiffer and more planted which I do like but I was really hoping for a full inch in the rear. Live and learn. The stealer charged me, I’m almost embarrassed to say this, $842 for the install. I almost choked when they handed me my bill. I was figuring it would be around $500. Here’s some before and after a.

I think it looks great. Lowered mine a fuzz over an inch and with over 30K miles on the KW adjustable springs, both CV boots have failed. You might get luckier by not having altered the half shaft angle as much.

I never even considered that! If it makes the car handle a tad better I’ll be ok with it.

My camber was way off too. Had to install a Bwoody kit to dial it back in. Your camber looks much better than mine did. I had a 235 contact patch on 305 tires :)

I installed them on mine

They never settled beyond the 5/8" drop I got @ initial installation.

However, the spec on them is 20mm, not 1", so you won't see that.

I didn't mess with alignment as a result of the drop.

Did you end up getting an alignment after the install? I was going to drive it for a while before I made a decision. Tracks straight so far.

OP your car looks great!!!

I wouldn't want to drop it too much then life on the street becomes more unbearable. Your ass will pucker every pot hole and your kidneys will beg you to buy an SUV

Hahaha the ride is perfect right now so other than the raping I took on the install I guess I’m happy where it’s at. Thanks for the compliment.

Also, one other thing I learned about measuring the height of these cars.

They are VERY sensitive to where and how you measure them. Pulling into the garage at any sort of steering angle will change the apparent height of the car.

What I did to end up with consistent results was mark spots on the garage floor to ensure that I was getting back to the same spot, and then, after getting as close to those spots as I reasonably could, pull back and forth a couple of feet several times and then instead of measuring to the fender, I measured to the frame in various spots.

Crazy effort, but I got tired of reading different heights on the fenders each time I tried it. This also came about from way back when people were reporting different results from the Mopar Stage 1 "Blue" springs. I wanted to know exactly what I ended up with.

I’ll give that a try. Those are the springs that I ended up getting from Steve White. Car feels more planted especially in track mode but could be my imagination

Had eibach springs on my 16, and with 305/35/20 in rear, would fender rub on wavy roads.
Have the mopar springs on my 19, and wish I had a little more drop.
My 19 has 335/30/20 in rear.
Just got some eibach springs, waiting for one of the shops around here to have an opening to install and align.

Should have had Jim do them lol. Would have cost you half that beer and a pizza! I did H&R and couldn't be happier. I will admit they might not have dropped much but any drop is better then that awful gap! Screenshot_20190813-201959_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20190811-193023_Messages.jpg

Cool man. Appreciate it. Just a not so friendly reminder of what's important in life and what's not.
