Battery made it today. I ordered it April 24th and it said May 14-June 7th for delivery so pretty happy it was early. It was advertised at 11.9 lbs but weighed 14.8 lbs. I made a bracket out of flat aluminum being it was shorter so I could bolt it down like the factory battery. Starts real fast like my arc angel did. Still a savings of 30lbs

So, other than longevity questions that obviously can't be answered yet, it's safe to say you'd recommend it to others? I've had it in my amazon cart for a few weeks now waiting for you to get yours. :)

Only had it a day but yeah I would recommend it. It is lighter and it starts faster:)

I have the antigravity group 94R battery . Same size as stock but 16lbs . So far I'm happy with it . I do have a lithium ion battery maintainer for it if I let the car sit for long periods of time . On a plus note it has a small module that uses an app that tells me the state of the battery via Bluetooth. Fancy !

I had and arc Angel but like a dummy I deep cycled it too many times and ruined it . Nicholas at arc Angel took it back as he wanted to see what happened to it . I didn't want to wait so I pulley the trigger on the antigravity one . I'm glad it did . There ain't nothing cheap for my car as I'm finding out lol m

I'm still waiting on Nicholas on his new battery which was suppose to be ready last September. I would have bought a battery then if I knew he still wouldn't have it ready now

Are you racing any time soon? Would greatly appreciate if, when you do, you provide review of battery after a day of sitting in staging lanes, quick runs then long (hopefully not too long) rests between runs.

Raced today. Lanes were empty so no waiting. Battery performed like it should. Started fine all day

any noticeable time benefit with the new battery and no loss of traction ?

Track seemed to be good being I didn't have any traction issue so taking the 30 lbs of the rear didn't impact me. I really think Chargers hook better then Challengers with the longer wheel base and more weight towards the rear. I saw plenty of cars spinning yesterday. Rule of thumb would be .03 quicker for the weight savings. I was faster in worse DA but also have 3.09's in the car so some of the time is from them.

Thanks, impossible question to answer after just one meet 👍

arc angel had a nice 18 lb battery 94R (stock size) but he is revamping everything. I had one 2 years ago and was one of the unlucky 10% that had a failure. Speedy, Bmason and Racer X all have them. He refunded me my money and is going to build me a 15 lb battery to test but keeps running into delays
Sorry to hear you had issues with yours. I also got one of the first AA batteries & still going strong, I actually recommended it to B. Mason & a few other track buddies, 1 of which had a issue also & was exchanged & is still doing good.
One thing good is AA batteries are here local & is easy to deal with if we have issues.

I missed this the first time around somehow. What's up with ARC Angel? I heard he was out of stock but man it seems like it's been ages.

I put one of the 16.5 lb Arc Angel batteries in mine back in 2019. Knock wood it's still good to go. I've run the cool down modes on the burnbox every time at the track and it always fires right up. Sounds like a lot are failing though?

My stock battery was 44 lbs.

Good find on that replacement @vortecd. If mine goes belly up I'll know where to go get a replacement. It's the L2-400 P/N right?

Battery stuff starts at 8:31.

It looks like everybody’s scales are showing different numbers. My Arc Angle weighed 18 lbs. My stock batt weighed 48 lbs. That is a 30 lb difference for me and I’ve had it for two years without issue. It starts the car like it’s on steroids. I use a LifePO4 charger to keep it happy. Yep L2-400 is correct. I think it is nicer then the AA being it has the voltage displayed on it

Funny you noticed that as well...it was the very first thing that I noticed, and I thought I'll bet its made in china.

Just an update on my battery. I parked the car in December and brought the battery inside. It was showing 13.3 on the battery monitor. About 2 months later it only dropped to 13.1. I put it in the Challenger for a day to get a load on it and took it back out. Showing 13.3 again. I have had lead batteries that needed a charge again after sitting so this one holds a charge pretty good
