After that ejeep blew the garage door off narrowly not decapitating the fire fighter, who the hell would want one in their garage? Not great for the old brand image.

Um I mean when you have a brand that was blue collar and now trying to position themselves as a luxury offroad brand, what you expect? No wonder Jeep got rid of the Trackhawk when they can get more profit out of a 110k 392 Grand Wagoneer and now inline 6 and people pissed they can't get more of them :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.

And he won't be the last to leave, you notice a lot of the old FCA heads are moved on other than Kuniskis and he about to F'up Ram. I heard through the grapevine Ralph Gilles is out once his current contract is up and his papers are already in.

Even Mazda is trying to position themselves as a luxury brand.

Sounds like they believe there won't be many middle classe buyers anymore.

I guess KIA/Honda/Toyota are the middle class Big 3 now?

I'm amazed how many people are driving Kias. Honda just doesn't seem to be keeping up with everyone else in my opinion.

Kia drivers are the new BMW drivers.

They hit a home run with the CX-90, local dealer selling them just as fast as they come in.

Honda did a horrible job keeping inventory on the lot versus the Korean twins.

3.4 million Hyundais and Kias are being recalled. I have a neighbor whose Sonata caught fire this past Spring parked in his garage in Maine while he was in Florida. Owners are being advised not to park them near their homes or other buildings! IMG_9307.jpeg

Kind of
They have their Camry/Corolla/Prius which occupy the 20k-30k range
But shopping SUVs with the wife, TRD Pro Sequioa was 85k at a dealership. Kick ass Orange color etc. Loved it. Just didn't think it was 85k (and I believe there was a markup on it but no way to tell) Sticker was on the seat upside down and a tag hanging from the mirror.

Neighbor bought a Tundra with the hybrid TTV6. Pretty slick truck but it was also north of 60k he said.

That seems really expensive to me for a Toyota.

I never really looked too hard at them before as I am not much of an Asian car buyer but we decided to open up about everything and see what we really like.
We do like the Sequoia but not at that price. Thats Denali money and we both thought the Denali was a nicer SUV.
