I’m definitely not worried about my car or me personally when I’m driving.

The chance of someone trying to car jack you is the same as it was before.

It’s all situational based. I am definitely armed while driving. A handgun always. No need for a long gun in the hellcat. Although still would be cool to have on the “side” if there was a cool flip concealed mount for it on the rear seat delete or something. But back to topic.

The handgun is to protect me or whoever I’m with and the situation dictates everything.

Multiple assailants just depends, running is always the best option. In most other scenarios, let them have the car if they got you dead to rights. If your dealing with multiple bad guys and they got you stuck. What are you gonna do? Shootout in your vehicle??

It’s a tough call. Using the gun is the absolute last choice. You have to literally have no other option.

To again answer the question. I feel no different now than before.

It comes down to your awareness level and intelligence. You can prevent most scenarios by not being around when they happen. Or seeing the threat from further away and getting away or letting them know to back the FK up before they get close.

Sorry off topic , but who has shot a pistol while driving a car out the passenger side window at a target ( what ever that target was ) , it's real loud , then trying to find the casings in the car.

I live in a pretty rural area and we used to "practice " this at times just to see how feasible it was to engage the target! Marks up the headliner if it's a light color and using an autoloader vs revolver.
Hot tip, Don't forget the ear plugs!

@WhipCat pretty much nailed it. IMO I'm in Chicagoland we have our moments but I refuse to let events dictate my life. Whether it's Hong Kong Fluey or riots. Illinois legislation ties my hands on how I can defend myself especially when it comes to firearms. Most important is the safety of my family no matter what that entails. I have insurance and my loved ones but I won't let times dictate what I can and can't do. Besides conspiracy theorists read the Mayan calender wrong and we're all going to die on 6/21/20

This is not meant to be a political post but I just have to ask is anyone else concerned about their Hellcat during these crazy chaotic times? I for the first time in my lifetime have had more concern than ever before about the possibility of my car being hijacked from me. And or your in a situation and people come up and start destroying it. And let me be clear I sincerely feel not likely but I am for sure only driving mine in the outer areas and ain’t leaving her parked anywhere.

I NEVER park my car where I am more than 30 ft away..Never park next to another car..never drive them in the rain..my situational awareness,,is more acute than most..and I am always armed with a concealed weapon..Always...and..no I'm not concerned..or afraid...I'M AWARE..the awareness comes from being a business owner in the inner city of Buffalo NY for over 30 years...
