Fob won’t program .

So my woman lost the red key to the trackhawk now it’s stuck in 500hp mode with a black key.

I ordered new red keys from various source because of shipping issues and now all the keys arrived at once ..

The issue is the dealer nor a locksmith can’t get the keys to program to the car

I just did some research about the issue and came up with the rf hub could be blocking keys from being programmed Shouldn’t the dealer no this ?
I am waiting for a callback from the dealership but as of now was curious to see where the rf hub is located to see if my vehicle even has it

Honestly if you’re really a long time lurker then you would understand everyone’s hesitation to answer questions about hub locations and how to program red keys for a brand of vehicles that are so frequently stolen

Yes but when the dealer looks at me like a ghost when I bring it up after trying many options now I’m sure someone has had a similar issue ..

Cloning a key or bypassing I believe is how they get our vehicles. This device is better at stopping actual owners then theirs it seems from my research especially when the local dealer is not even aware of the device

Seems a thief can clone a key easier then a dealer can make one. How sad is that What a weird time we live in

What "Various source" did u order ur keys from? Maybe thats ur issue

I ordered one from eBay .. one from a wholsale only vendor I registered my company with . Now I had the dealer order one for me.

but now after doing my research could be the rf hub problem and my dealer is just slow or stupid or both on this situation which is costing me money

Well anyways I went back by the dealership just now and they said no that it would have popped up if I had that security lockout issue. And was mainly for hellcats not trackhawk. And blamed the key I had so I showed them a brand new own key. And they said just wait for the key they ordered 🤦‍♂️. 430$ watch it not work then they check for the security lockout 🤣

So new update has a local locksmith come by reprogrammed the red key I got of eBay in 2min. And still stuck in 500hp mode 🤦‍♂️.

only conclusion now is First red key is trash. Second red key is a cheap internal fake red key ..

Yeah 1st red key won’t program

2cd red key programmed right away. Still stuck in 500hp mode

So I learned yes a key can be programmed to the truck and yes. This industry sucks and the dealer sucks as well 🤣
