About 11am today I just happened to look up and there was some sort of military jet moving SE. It must have been large, but was very high up and moving WAY faster than any of the commercial stuff I see all the time. Con trail was rather short & dissipated quickly. No clue what it was, but it was hauling ass !!

Was 94.8% here. Saw it briefly between clouds. What's odd is the news media making all this hype this year, but we had a total eclipse here in 2017 and I don't remember the hype?

Seriously, we were about 95%? Not only dusk like dark, but the sunny 65deg spring day turned cold, the birds, peepers and frogs went silent (we live in the woods with a small pond nearby), but the most surprising was the auto dark weld helmet wouldn't work at peak!!! I had to get the old style mask out!

Nothing much here.

Here either...the million to million and a half projected to invade the region...the mass traffic jams..the grid lock..NEVER happened..maybe 40,000/45,000 showed...Maybe....doubt it was that much..more hysteria as a result of non stop media warnings the past 3 wks...like I suspected...all Bullshit...but It was cool for things to go dark in the middle of the afternoon if only for a short time...
