I have no idea exactly where you live. Sounds like on a plateau in a western state.

We have close to 300 sunny days per year here, which is quite a bit more than anywhere in the state that DavidKFla, Unholy, and the other swamp creatures call home.

It started out being about cars in climates suitable for human habitat, where it can snow, but the gator gang quickly turned it into explaining that they can't even go to car shows for half the year...because it's even hotter and more humid in the summer.

Float charger, and foam insulation under the tires. Keep it ready to drive whenever the roads are clear regardless of temp. Life is short. Enjoy whenever and as much as you can!

I'm starting to realize that. Which is why I don't enjoy driving the 'Cat quite like I used to. Heck, last time it was out I only had it up to 100 once.

Starting to feel sorry for all the guardian angles I've driven to drinking, drugs, or death.

Glad you were not talking about Guardian Angels. Angles on the other hand must do drinking and drugs which lead them to death.

You don't enjoy driving your Cat!?!?!? The only reason I don't drive it is because it's raining and I don't want to wash it again! It's not how fast you go, it's about how fast you know it can go by a simple push!

Ever since I started driving, including riding motorcycles which was first, I've pretty much driven as fast as humanly possible, and ideally sideways. Heck, I've had the Pete and its trailer sideways on a narrow dirt road, just because. That's how I figure I've worn out numerous guardian angels since I've lived to talk about it..

Obviously, with the 'Cat I can't drive anywhere near as fast as what the car is capable of, but I did try. But lately I don't feel anywhere near as invincible as I have been.

In other words, the 'Cat is still my favorite vehicle, it's just that I no longer enjoy always driving it at its/my limit.
