    Caliper Swap Complete!

Funny. Somebody paid extra to have the non-red calipers installed when the car was new. People always want want they don't have at some point. I saw a brand new RE yesterday and they have apparently changed the Brembo logo to a large SRT logo on the caliper. Looked cool and different, but I'm...

    1964 Plymouth's "Orange Monster"

Oh that's gonna win you a popularity contest on here.:ROFLMAO:

    It’s here !

It looks like they're using the Charger Hellcat emblems and putting the red eye in them instead of the Challenger Hellcat emblems with the red eye in them for the Super Stock.

    95mm Fastman throttle body testing

I noticed that(with the Kenne Belle) years ago. When I put a Magnuson on my SRT I was researching different blowers for comparisons and cross reference. When I went on KB's web site (which actually had great tech info) they stated that you could not have a big enough TB for practically any blown...

    95mm Fastman throttle body testing

That's also how I felt with it. It seemed like it was crisper or snappier or something. The exhaust note was even different (that's what I meant when I said barking louder through the pipes). The tranny also seemed to shift more like it had a shift kit. When I put the 92 back on, everything...

    95mm Fastman throttle body testing

Agree with everything you said. But my thinking was the 92mm was developed for the original 2015 Hellcat with a 2.4 blower and a cam with @215* intake duration @.050 lift. My RE has a 2.7 blower and a cam with @226* intake duration. I thought the 95mm would be good for something. It's not like...

    95mm Fastman throttle body testing

Juuust had my RE tuned with a hellraiser 3.17, exhaust mods, and the Fastman 95mm throttle body. Can confirm no difference in power from the stock 92mm TB. The car def did bark louder through the pipes though. Also, after it reached full temp it would take a bit to settle down to idle on...

What car did you dislike the most?

That is too funny. My wife had a Dodge Avenger. It actually wasn't a bad car until the head gasket blew. Common on the 420A model 4 cylinder. When we drove it to the dealer for trade in, my wife followed me in another car 'cause we didn't even think it would make it.(It almost didn't) It was...

Finally put my ingocnito sleeve on

@rookerrobert I too ran the full 32 oz of VP race additive for the full effect in 10 gals of 93. I had run 3 maybe 4 10gal tanks through at that mixture when I saw the deposits on @16GoManGoHC2 's valves and decided to stop. But now that I'm hearing you can get a pretty good boost up (97/98) at...

    Ball-stud Hemi

I too read about this engine in the eighties. Thought it was extremely interesting. It is almost a carbon copy of the Big block Chevy. If they put a notch in the chamber for quench it would've been a dead ringer....but then they couldn't call it a hemi. Ford did the same with the '385' series...

When to know to get out? I.e. sell.

Lets get the facts straight. The only reason Ford put a supercharger on there V8 had nothing to do with balls. There POS couldn't keep up with the naturally asperated competition. When GM and Dodge reciprocated, Ford was again back of the pack.

When to know to get out? I.e. sell.

Quote out of my wife's handbook: "I don't know why you argue with me...I'm always right."

Car went dead on the road after washing engine for the first time in six years.

The PCM and the connectors are pretty well sealed. I'm surprised it came back PCM. You should be able to shoot your garden hose at PCM and connections and not have a problem. It's not in a sealed box inside the interior of the car. It's in the engine compartment and exposed to extreme temps and...

Stock Fuel Rails, why they don’t keep up

I actually was looking at these only @2yrs ago. They were way cheaper then! Average was $@500-@$520. One place located in Queens near me had a few for $452!. I Googled them and some people said it fit but the lower (or upper?) radiator hose was the wrong hose size. I believe it was smaller. They...
