There were like 3 options I wanted that this car didn't have. One was black exhaust tips ($400 option) which why it's a cost option who knows. The polished stainless were the only thing shiny on the whole car.

I looked at getting factory black tips and they were $700-800! Dang and heck no to that. So I decided to paint them for $20. Unfortunately the tips are integrated into the rear bumper so it had to come off, fortunately it's super simple and took about 30 mins.

I’m more interested in the fact that the tail light comes off with the bumper cover

This car makes 670HP and weighs around 3500 lbs. It's kinda in that sweet spot of very usable power. I've learned over the years more isn't necessarily "MORE"

I do wish it had the D170s traction control program....If I'm using paddles the 2-3 shift under throttle is pretty aggressive and breaks the tires lose which kicks on Mr. Squiggly and it's party over for a second or so until it recovers. In standard "auto" mode this doesn't happen interestingly. Paddles I use to get that sweet sounding exhaust note higher in the RPMs.

Nothing "spontaneous" about it. People leaving the fuel lever locked and letting it over fill and pour out all over the rear of the car is what's happening. So GM is having to add some kinda little plastic thing to direct the spilling fuel away from a radiator fan or something. They're going to put this plastic doo dad on every C8 Z06.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a car overfill - usually stops

I have never locked the fuel nozzle...always know how much the vehicle will take...and NEVER filled it to capacity

EXACTLY - so people must be going out of their way to have an issue. I have noticed on my Z06 it shuts off early so maybe they keep going over and over dunno but I've not spilled a drop outta mine.

C8 owners at Land Speed Trials were talking about this, something about they need to invert the filler handle to make it flow without constantly shutting off, and when they leave it in the filler neck inverted, it slips out and falls on the ground, or something like that. The guys there say they hold on to it.
