facts are indeed a bitch. why would you think I fail to understand about hellcats? I love Dodges and the bang for the buck. Not a Corvette lover or hater. I love fast cars and the ZR1 is awesome.
Worth 200k? Depends on your wallet. To some it's just money.
Lots would say you're crazy to have 100K in just a Dodge.
I am not one of them.
RE not near $100k, $81505 including S2. Much less if I skimped on options.

$200k for a C8 is, like I said, stupid.

You will love the MIR track.
Have you roll raced before?
Ya I went to Race Motives Pocono event last month and had a lot of fun. MIR is sea level so I should really be able to get it cranking there. Will get there next year. Like the fact that they have drag racing as well.

I may do the October Pocono event this year on a 2.6 pulley and see how much MPH I can gain from May.

MIR has always had great track prep and Bathrooms ( the ladies who take care of it know my daughter and I)

Lots of great Fans of racing there too.

Hopefully you will get some cool air. MIR is where Josh put my husband's "Top Cat" Hellcat Challenger 1st A8 into the 8s.

Roll racing was fun to watch and something I've wanted to try.

You, should post up more about your day. 😎

I had a pretty good couple weeks. As I mentioned in the thread In Search of 9’s, I got into the 9’s 3 weeks ago.

https://www.hellcatforum.org/threads/in-search-of-9s.16128/

Adrenalein Rush (AR) got me started on drag racing, but only after getting me into Land Speed Trials. AR did a thread (on the “other” forum) in July 2021 after he did 203.7 in the 1.5mi in his lightly modded 2019 Charger (non-RE). He is local and I contacted him. He was extremely helpful and I attended the next event held in Sept ’21 and got the M6 to 173+ in the 1mi. Before attending the event I had never driven over about 120. It was a great thrill. In subsequent events I got the M6 to 185 in the 1.5mi.

In 2023 the stock RE hit 191 in the 1.5mi. While that might seem fast, in 2024 a local took a 2015 stock HC to 190 in the 1.5mi! (I blame newer software avoiding COT.)

Spring 2024 I added the DC S2 but at LTA it puked at about 120 for a few sec. Best was 195 in the 1.5. The dealer relaced 2 injectors but I had to wait until this week to try again.

This past Monday morning, perfect conditions. Cool with perfect tailwind of 8mph gusting to 15. First run I was too heavy on the gas for the over inflated tires and slipped all over the place until about 100. Speedo said 202 as I went through the 1.5. Ticket said 204.512!!!

After a cooldown, I tried again, very little slip. About one sec before the finish there was a power loss. Speedo was still 202. I figured I hit the speed limiter and had a poor run. Because this was a small event they took shortcuts and I could not immediately get my ticket. I didn’t see the ticket until Tues and it was 204.980! Had I known I was so close to 205 on Monday, I would have tried a slower start and try for 205. But I can’t complain about 204, hell, my goal was 200!

I'm pretty sure we do not have a limiter in place, there are plenty of examples of people with increased power over 200 at the Texas Mile.
