It's cheaper for me to run e85 where I'm at but I know not the same for everyone. I read the average new vette buyer has a house hold income of $311k, wow. Based on the zo6 mark up, how much are these going to cost?

You can get a Z06 at sticker now.
And probably a discount now that the ZR1 has been revealed for 2025 as people want to upgrade to the latest and greatest.

I think the ZR1 starts in the 150-160-170k range for a base model and well over 200 for a loaded example.

I want a car I can drive to Walmart, the range, the pub, not sure how comfortable I'd be taking a $160k car, especially when I can't take the dog and wife!

We go on week long vacations in the HC, plenty of room for the 3 of us plus luggage, cooler, dog bed, guns, etc. I loved Vettes since I was a kid in the '60's, but at this point in my life I have absolutely no use for a 2-seater.

Had a Z06 on order as an upgrade to my wife's C8...had a cash deposit down months prior...(@ msrp)..two weeks before scheduled ship date...they pulled the old ADM game...(something they never did with her 2020 C8)...I don't play the ADM game for ANY car..or ANY dealer..would I consider a new Z06 @ msrp...maybe..but not from that dealer

You should have contacted GM customer service. They have rules against dealers that try the ADM game. Some dealers would put mileage on the cars then sell them as used to get around that ADM rules GM imposed.

Kinda-sorta-maybe digging these c8s 🫣 Of course I’m keeping the hc, it’s been solid and right now in a money saving mode anyway. But can’t help but wonder what’s going to be around in a few years? Dodge tt i6? Back looking at Porsches and maybe I’m wrong, but z06 looks like it would spank any similarly priced gt4 and 911. Even base c8s out performing 718s similarly priced and those going ev anyway911 turbo s I’m sure could compete with this zr1 but both out of my budget. BMW comps are bang for the buck and I do like.. but kinda ugly still lol. New gtr? Never really been a mustang guy so there’s that.

This zr1 kinda got me checking out c8s in general and comparing. Not the biggest fan of the lined spaceship look but it’s sorta growing on me… and don’t really like the console divider either. Heard some folks having trans issues. Idk? I’ve got time to think about it so.. I just wish they would keep the damn hemi. Never been as passionate about a car as the hellcat. I love mine so another one doesn’t really make sense financially.

Agreed...will never give up my Cats..EVER...but my wifes black C8 /red and black interior...is a very capable ...fun car...and looks cool..and @ regular C8 prices..is really a bargain...
