My only disappointment is the limited payload of 2000 pounds. Not sure if his includes the 400 that can be stowed up front in the frunk. But the heavy duty towing rig I'm in for it. And the 4.4 seconds while not sports car fast is pretty damn fast for a factory truck.

I think the heavy duties will be more Hybrid and most of the HD’s get a lot of heavy use and once you start towing I think the mileage will be half. I’d guess the f150 300 mile range goes to 150-200 at best with 8k-10k trailer hooked up.

I wonder if that 300 mile range is actually achievable even not towing. My real world experience with several teslas is they get about 35% of their advertised range. So i wonder if Ford has been more accurate with their guess.
I’m putting a deposit down too. I’ll have to look for the price on the Platinum… I don’t think the $39k work truck will have air conditioned seats and a sunroof.
