My thoughts exactly🤣🤪 it’s been cold wet and raining with high winds for the last two weeks.

I love factories! I never worked in anything this complicated, it is really cool! I have experience in painting cars (century ago) and experience with robo painting. No contest!

The entire process of all the raw materials and small assemblies coming into the plant and then coming together to make a running driving vehicle really is as cool as it sounds! I love my job because I’m involved from start with raw steel panels all the way through to final drive off and rolls test to set vehicles up for road use.

That is the best part of being a tradesman you go everywhere and work on everything! It’s pretty awesome😎
I’m not stuck on a line in the same work group for 10 hrs 6 days a week! I don’t think I could do that 🥴

Those do not go to dealers, they are an assembly line use item. They use protectors like that to protect car during certain operations. We use them all over the place during assembly also. They are usually held on with magnets or snap over a body panel.

The operators will put them on for a couple stations then they come off and go back in the line to be reused on the next car.

Yeah, figured they were used to protect the fenders for certain ops, was just being a smart ass (throw-back to all the fuss over the front lip protectors ).
