Story time…. 🤓. Back in 1966/67 when I was just outta high school and living the hotrod cruising scene (picture American Graffiti) I had my ‘61 Ford Falcon with a 327 Chev in it. A friend had a 1955 Chev Station Wagon that was jacked up in the front like all the drag cars were at the time. He had a 283 in it, but couldn’t afford headers at the time. He put 3” diameter pipes in the wheel wells to look like header collectors. Painted white of coarse. Cruising into the drive in (roller skating car hops) in front of everybody… one of his pipes fell out. He had to get out and pick it up. He was like the Toad character in the movie. 😂
