I just remember thinking there are a lot of cool toys in the FCA toolbox and he didn't really try and do anything different.

Make a new Neon with a hybrid drivetrain.
Make a new Nitro with the same.
Figure out how to utilize the 4xe turbo 4 drivetrain and keep the costs down to offset carbon credits.

The problem anymore is that once a company makes a "performance" car, they need to jack up the price. They could have utilized this drive train to make 400hp into 2 performance vehicles that get 50+mpg and get the tax credit to boot.

Not everyone wants a 800 hp boat. There's plenty who enjoy a light, nimble car with adequate power and comfort while getting good fuel economy.

Just not enough diversity throughout the lineup in my opinion.

Far too much cheap euro junk thrown in.

You can't get ripped off if you agree to the transaction. Say no if you don't like the terms but it's bullshit to agree to terms, sign on the dotted line and then say you got ripped off.

You can get ripped off if you agree to terms within the contract, add a deposit and when item comes in, seller decides to change the terms of the contract.

You're getting ripped off whether you accept the new terms or you walk away from the deal.

The problem is that the market took another big jump in price on these and dealer GM's are not in the habit of leaving large amounts of cash on the table, especially since pickups are back to commodity pricing. It does suck for the guys who thought they had a deal locked up.

Auction prices are horrible too. A bunch of dealers want over 200k out the door for a Demon 170 and all i see is excuses by guys about why the auction prices aren't high.

100k is beyond insane when it is almost double the window sticker
