I wonder if big name custom shops like Kindig-It Design, Foose, etc will survive the change in auto culture long term. I think we are seeing the end of an era. There will always be pockets of car enthusiasts and shops but I think all the TV shows and celebrity status of these guys is going to fade over the next several years with the aging of the baby boomers and Gen Xers. I still get Hot Rod Magazine and it's lame. I loved Car Craft and Hot Rod growing up
