Saturday the rains postponed all the racing. On Sunday I show up at the track and it's packed. They basically ran 2 days racing in 1.
I was asked to run in a N/T true street race. So I figured why not at least I will get a few runs in for sure. They took the first round winners and they raced for a pot. And the 1st round losers ran for a smaller pot. We pick cards and I get paired up with an 8sec firebird. LOL So in the loser round I get paired up against a friend of mine. Who is probably the closest to running with me. He accidentally double bulbed me. So I staged and was ready to go but the lights didn't fall for a long time. I treed the hell out of him because of this long wait staged. So that is the .5 rt I had. LOL
This was a .400 pro tree so there is that.

I was originally told if I ran the 1/4 I would get my times. Well that didn't happen. So used the car timers to judge how well I did. Well out of 4 runs my timers read the same as the best timers in the car 3 times. So I may have got close to my pb or better and I can't be sure and don't know. LOL
Going through a bunch of old slips it looks like on those runs I probably ran low 10.5x's at least and likely got a few 10.4x's.
Going back on Saturday to see what happens. This time the race is a 1/4 mile. LOL

I'm not an 1/8 mile fan . I will have to go back and look at your 10.46 pass ( I have a picture I think) . Either that's killing in for a "locked" ecu car !

Thanks Mark. It had to be pretty close to get all the timers to match up with the best. Heading back on Saturday to the track to see what we get. @Frenchcat is like going to make it out also. Should be interesting. Last time out he ran a 10.40 and the air will be much more better. LOL

I just found a video of the slip on the right. I don't think they were ready for us. So they had to set the timers for the 1/8 no time.
Waiting so long you get why the rt sucked. LOL

Thanks brother. I did notice last weekend that my car has to run a 10.50 or better to get the timers to show 10.5 in the dash.
So that means the 3 runs were at least a 10.50. Pretty happy about that considering that is without yanking a bunch of weight.

Now last weekend my first pass was a new pb by .001. LOL

That's interesting on your dash timer , I don't normally pay attention to my dash timer but when I ran the 10.28 / 132.58 , I did see that my dash timer said 10.1 @ 133 ? ….but these cars never cease to amaze me on how fast & consistent they can be.
I was just looking at it that day. Seeing as how I only got 1/8mile times. The next weekend I ran a 10.46 on my first pass then a 10.50, 10.51, 10.52, 10.53. Only on my 10.50 and 10.46 pass did my timer show 10.5 all others showed 10.6 in the 1/4.
So at least I have an idea of what about it ran. Wish I knew for sure. LOL

So you ran a 10.28!! Congrats!!! That's awesome.

Fwiw the last time I was out and ran those times. Another cat from out of town that would make a good race with my car. He was running similar times to me. Within 1/2 a tenth or so. His best 60' was a 1.50 but his mph was 128-129.× on a 10.53 pass. He has 3.09 gears. By about the 1/8 our slips even out and then I edge him out a bit. I wanted to run on the same day as him to compare as the last time I saw him was when I broke my ds last fall. He ran a 10.40 and a 10.37 that day. So you know I'm looking forward to that crazy cold dry air in the next few wks. LOL
