See time marker 2:39... In 1979, I had the opportunity to purchase a mint condition Plymouth Superbird (440/6 w/manual shift) for the tidy sum of $5555.00 from Jim Lash Bluebook Cars in Sanford, FL. To say I regret passing on it doesn't begin to describe how I've felt since the day it sold.

Man, I think about that multiple times every day. Not just in regards to cars but to life in general! Common sense and common courtesy are extinct as the dinosaurs.
And the politicians, courts and policy makers should all be banished to some uncharted and uninhabited Island 🏝 and I'm not talking some island with Ginger and Mary Ann either. I'm thinking Easter Island would be a good place and then start the nuclear testing once more 😉

So far I’ve owned or have a Hemi Orange, Sublime (special person) and Plum Crazy Mopar. Panther Pink is on my bucket list.
I’ve also owned Rallye Red and Burnt Orange on a 70 and 72 Duster. Our 69 road runner was triple black.

I built a '70 Dart 340 Panther Pink in the late 80's. Saw one in a mag a guy found with like 5,000 original miles. Fell in love with the car so found me a '70 Dart and painted it along with engine transplant (was a brown 318 car)

For years, a guy in Winter Park, FL had five B body MOPAR's sitting in his driveway. Four in the driveway and one in the street. One was a Coronet R/T, the rest were covered. I decided to go to the door, just to see if he may want sell one of them. He comes to the door wearing a white t-shirt that looked like had had been spilling coffee on himself for the last year. Before I was finished asking, he yelled; "THEY'RE NOT FOR SALE!" and slammed the door. I asked his neighbor (was there to work on a pool heater) about the cars? He confirmed 2 x GTX and 2 x Roadrunner. Those cars sat for years, and as time passed, you could see rust beginning to form on two of them. In nine years, except for the Coronet R/T, I never saw one of them out of place. Out of curiosity, my lady and I drove past the house last weekend... all gone.
