I don't see how this could be a slap in the face of Dodge fans. Dodge is known for building a 1320 car exceptionally well. The Maserati was built off an existing platform, where if they revived the Viper they would need to revamp everything to stay competitive in the world of sports car racing. ( that just doesn't seem to be a viable option or cost effective )

The next 1320 will be built in someones garage . Look at the Corvette E-Ray Hybrid. The Maserati can be easily converted to a Hybrid too.l

Dodge was supposed to build a hybrid. They announced they ordered a bunch of transmissions with the hybrid setup. Do they still have them or what happened?

I wonder if those transmissions are in the Maserati?

The dealer network is definitely in a panic mode wondering what they're going to have to sell next year besides Rams and Jeeps. Dodge has been a major source of income for them.

Hell IDK! I don’t work for the idiots. I am eyeing a Chevrolet if nothing develops I want to add to my garage from Dodge. If I win the lottery, I’ll even take a Maserati, or even a Porsche if they drive me crazy enough. I’ll be old enough soon. I got a nice late model Dodge that works real well now, if they won’t make any more like it, it is looking better and better.
