The finish on the hood latch is destroyed on my new hellcat. Not sure if this is an issue for all chargers and challengers. Has anyone been able to come up with a solution to this issue? Here's a link:

Time to invest in some hood pins, but not sure how it would look on a charger.

My 2018 Challenger was fine other than the paint on the latch being all gouged up. I changed it with the stainless one. Screenshot_20190924-145936_Gallery.jpg

That video is 4 years old. If it was an issue there would be hoods flying everywhere.....

well its an issue they haven't fixed and it carries on to the next year. the date of the video is irrelevant to the discussion, my car is a 2020 and still has the same issue.

Here is my hood from 4 years ago when this first came up, and then from just now.

Presented as reference only, not trying to make a point on either side of this issue.

I'm not making a point, just trying to solve this issue. Thanks for the picture though. Mines not that bad yet.
