Seems like every foreign takeover just results in scalping all the profits and leaving what’s left to fumble for itself! If my understanding is correct there was a competitive bid for FCA when the Stellantis deal was being worked out from the “Dodge” family?! Not 100% sure who exactly that was but they wanted to bring ownership back to the USA
