Just another reason why I dont live in a big city. Denver had emission stuff but it wasn't state wide. Hell @jonx96 has Amish ride by his house with horse and buggy

Picked up right where we left off last season! all the upgrades worked flawlessly! This was the first shakedown pass. very pleased and excited to add some power.

Yeah DE is strict as hell. no local shops can perform the inspection or emissions. has to be done by the DMV directly. all government controlled. it sucks. but my street car passed with no problems. had to pull my window tint off. had it re done 2 hours later.

MD allows shops to do it and they charge out the ass and are corrupt as fuck. Had my 2006 ram inspected and had a third brake light in my hitch hooked up to my 4 pin. Guy said i need to remove it as it’s not allowed as there are no third brake lights. I got in the truck his the brakes and pointed to the factory third light… Now i just have the state do it.

Luckily once you pass in MD you never have to do it again. you could modify the entire car and never have to worry about state inspection again.

Its every two years in DE for me now. but the car goes right though once I take the tint off. emissions and all.

Yeah it sucks, but I have a local guy that gets me right back in the same day. Cost of wanting to keep it tagged in my state.

No idea what the tint laws are here but lots of cars have tinted windows. I have never been into tinting windows

I looked into Mich law a while back. IIRC, only like 4” of tint on the top edge of windows is legal. I’ve never heard of anyone getting pulled over or ticketed for full tints though.

First time I've ever tried bracket racing. its extremely weird. But you don't have to run your car hard so I see the idea behind it, never stress the car out and just remember to stand on the brakes at the 1000ft.

I don't know, I don't like using the parachute. I've not run the new setup hard yet. still on low timing, low shift points. if I don't need to push it hard I'm not going to. it was an extremely expensive offseason I need to enjoy the car and racing for a while.

A buddy got his 3.8 Gen 6 Whipple in a billet case back last week. Made a scraping sound like yours when he first got it. Scraping sound went away, but looks like this already after just 4 1/8 mile passes.
