2019 Hellcat Challenger dual stripe revision

The dual carbon stripes on my hellcat reveal body color around scoops, does yours? Other stripes are solid as if scoop was removed when installed.I noticed a few others listed for sale online that are exactly like mine and others solid.

The green photo is early build and matches Dodge sight. The orange photo is off Dodge today’s
website build. The Red photo is my car and has body color around scoop. I think they both look nice, but certainly changes the look of the car IMO.

Dodge needs to update their website to reflect what they are actually producing.

My guess is that it's due to the aggressive compound curves that the stripes have to wrap around and have probably been coming up as a result.

A good vinyl guy can do it with a heat gun and make it look good (and stick), but this is a production deal & the installers are likely not the best (at least not all of them).
Plus, they have to be extra careful with the CF as it's got a texture to it and starts to look funky if manipulated just a bit too much.

There was a thread about factory installed stripes on the line and those applied by vendor on off-site. I know mine was sent to vendor lkely the same result. Appears change was made mid year or sooner based upon cars for sale. I know stripe avalibility was on/off wondering if it was issues or weather related. If car is striped then pull out into the cold results likely vary based upon body contouring.

If you had an early version I wonder if factory original replacements can be ordered to the early revision.

I don't have any on my Redeye, but now wish I did. The ones on the green color car looks much better. But I'm sure it was a time / cost issue.

These cars could have used better designed stripes and in paint not stickers. Stripes belong in sides of car. Therefore my car has none.

The thing is with all the hertitage FCA could draw from with respect to graphics, the factory stripe options look like a total cop-out and after thought. The T/As are probably the nicest looking sticker packages of the bunch.

I like the Challenger TA stripes as well, Hellcat stripes look awesome IMO. Love to see a A/R Cuda type stripe again someday. Vipers looked awesome with stripes.

GM made a great living for decades with striped cars Vettes, Camaros, Chevelles, Monte Carlo, Novas and various trucks. Appears to have been popular for a long time.
