May have been more as a factory option, but they came installed (sans cables) and I didnt have to stress about cutting holes in my hood correctly or finding a shop I trusted to do so either

I’ll find the Cable instructions and post them. I think the factory hood pins were a $495 option

Mine were ordered, late order and late build on a 2019. My car was tagged no dealer prep other than road readiness so my security pins and cables were in a plastic bag in the trunk. I worry about the cables scratching the paint so I didn’t install them.

I like mine, seem to keep rocks off the car. Installed when car was new along with the swain rock guards

I ordered mine with pins. Told dealer not to prep cosmetics when it arrived only prep operational items. Mine was delivered to me with pins installed and lanyards/retaining pins in a bag in the glovebox.

got the pins out of the package yesterday, easy to disassemble pins and remove lanyards. Lanyards will stay on the shelf for now

Worried about the lanyards scarring the paint

My Redeye has the factory hood pins. Any reason to keep the lanyards on the pins?

Guys at the dealership where I bought mine said they can’t even go get mine from the yard in Nashville, dodge won’t let them. Said they have tried a couple of times in the past

Last night Dodge live chat told me to contact my dealer from now on as it has been shipped. This afternoon I stopped by the dealership & they said my car arrived in Nashville via train at 530 this morning. As soon as there is a full truckload coming this way I will receive my car!

There's one creeping around my little town always wanting to race. Of course he only challenged my 1000hp Shelby when we were at a light knowing I couldn't hook. Wonder if he's smart enough to stay away from the incoming Redeye?
