I don't think this is posted yet, and I searched, so if it is forgive me.

170 definitely gets the nod on style points.

Not sure I'd consider the ZR1 a "muscle car" at all. Love my Z06, but apples and chalk IMO.

ZR1 crazy quick on street tires.

ZR1 is very impressive. But for $100k+ over the 170, and room for the wife, dog, luggage, groceries, etc., I'll stay with the 170. If I were 40y younger, I might be targeting the C8.

I'll bet the ZR1 would kick ass at Land Speed Trials! All the previous C8's were a disappointment.

Wait shouldn't it be the other way around? Younger for mopar and older for corvette?

Yep, getting in and out of the C8 Z06 does require some athleticism. When I hop in and out of the 170 I'm like wow that was easy :LOL:

Shoulda stated what each car weighs. Vette probably 600lbs lightet.

Why I never got a Vette. I test drove one in the late 90s and had to crawl out, never looked at one again and my bad knees haven't gotten better in the last 30 years:(;)

D170 4275lbs
Vette 3783lbs

Difference of 492lbs favoring the vette

So then maybe he shoulda said "even with seats removed the Demon still weighs 500lbs more than the Vette" but you won't hear that one lol.

Given a choice of only one I'd pick the ZR1 though...more well rounded even if it is hard to get in and out of. I'm not a fan of the hood, but I'm in the minority on that one. The Vette folk seem to like what I call the Hot Wheels look.

I have a technique that helps...slide the seat all the way back...then place yer left arm as far back as you can on the frame sill..then push as you slide yer legs out...it works..and ya dont look like yer climiin outta a hole
