And here's a reason why Koons sells as many as they do. I have absolutely no problem getting on a plane and enjoying a nice long drive home for the best deal. I went to Idaho to get my last Ram truck because it had more features and was still $4k cheaper (after my expenses) than anything in my local area.

They had a $5K markup on a damn 4Runner and listed as "limited supply fee". WTH?

Got the '15 Hellcat in rural Iowa, got the RE in a Chicago suburb. I also don't give a rip where I purchase it.

I live in Houston, Texas and MAY buy a C8 Vette from a dealership in Maryland, New Jersey (forgot about Kerbeck), or New Hampshire. I bought my C7 Z06 from a dealership in Hammond, Louisiana. What a fun trip driving the 280 miles home.

Between the two Koons Toyota dealerships up here, they have 163 of them NEW when I just looked on their site. I didn't even check the used numbers. Doesn't seem like they have a "supply" problem at all.
I hate when dealers play those games.
