IF u watch the Eclipse dont be one of those Morons that stairs at it BEFORE it eclipses..... And dont try it with sunglasses either. If there is even the slightest defect in ur sunglasses it can and will burn a permanent hole right into ur retna FACT. Its fine to look at the Eclipse itself tho once eclipsed.....

I remember the 1979 event but even being in Colorado it was not close to a total eclipse

I was trying to figure out when was the eclipse I saw a few years ago. It looks like it was the June 10, 2021, and we were no where near total, but it looked pretty cool and did get dusk like dark. We are way closer to the one next week, forecast has improved to "mostly sunny".

I flew down to La Paz Mexico to watch the longest total eclipse (7 minutes) in the history of civilization (meaning it was actually recorded). Landed and was directed to park on the tarmac with hundreds of others coming in from everywhere. Watched standing next to the plane. It was in July 1991 and hot at 12 noon. When it went total it was surreal. The temp dropped immediately and the wind came up. There were unreal waves of light shimmering on the horizon that turned into what looked like a 360 degree sunset. The stars were visible like it was night. I have to say…. I could see ancient people thinking it was the end of the world. Unforgettable experience. 😎

So it’s basically nighttime but a few hours early with smedium radiation from the sun.

Well here we are in Buffalo @ ground zero for the 100% show...roughly 26 hrs. and counting away....so where's the million plus people that were descending on our region like locust.....traffic..SLIGHTLY busier than normal...Traffic jams ...NONE...hmmmm..my wife ..who bought into the hysteria says wait till tmro...get da Fuck outta here..you think a million plus are waitin @ the state line to invade tmro...I've seem more people @ a gay pride party in Buffalo..(most likely allotta those same people will show up)..I called BULLSHIT to the million projection weeks ago..and I stand by it...
