That car is over restored though. They were pretty but they were well used race cars. Great 10 footers.

I think they had 4-5 of those cars, over the years. When they needed one [class changes], they purchased and painted other cars. All their original stuff, was never topped for neatness and cleanliness by anyone. The factory teams who did all the R&D, had 10 footers. Those other team cars had thousands more passes and parts changes. S&M were the Chrysler Pretty-Boys.

Tell more on your motor specifics!!
I have a 340 build in front of me, bought a 340 TA block many years ago and I am looking to stroke it out to 410ish cubic inch - whats your motor package? (Heads, crank, cam, etc)
I am still looking for a machine shop and some components for my build and I would be curious on your direction and what you know...

It's just a bored and stroked, race-block engine. It has Indy heads and intake for a single 4-bbl. It won't be on "kill". SBM heads suck, so that's the "cork" on these engines. I'm used to Gen-2 hemi stuff.
It has some "jewelry" pieces, but really isn't set for max power.

It'll be installed in this car...
