So this is from my first year (I still hadn't pulled the bananas off, they were still a thing then)
I had not pulled the hood vent grates, I didn't learn until later that was recommended by Dodge. When I did pull them for the next two years/events, the hood lift was reduced, but not eliminated.
Two different shots from 2Sep2016, and then a frontal from 3Sep2016 shot to show that my hood normally sits where it should and isn't permanently deformed.
So while I do think it should be addressed, keep in mind that other than pulling the hood vent grates, my hood has ~100 passes on it and hasn't suffered any obvious issues.
Also! Of note is that these are at the 1/2mile mark or so, so the speed is only ~150mph, not ~175mph...
